Coffee and pizza specialist, Gavin Compton and his team are the Brooklynites behind this laid-back bistro at the corner of Havemeyer and Grand. Tasked with breathing new life into the space – formerly the Williamsburg staple, Lodge – Parkbench Architects helped divide the space for the varied needs including a bakery and to-go space, full kitchen, bar and dining area. All spaces are joined by a main artery reminiscent of the restaurant’s predecessor, with colorful built-ins and banquettes.
