Arabica 30 Rockefeller Plaza NYC

% Arabica 30 Rockefeller Plaza

% Arabica 30 Rockefeller Plaza % Arabica at 30 Rockefeller Plaza blends modern aesthetics and historic homage. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of NYC subways, the space features a striking palette of yellow and white, creating an inviting and dynamic atmosphere. The design also pays tribute to the architectural Art-Deco beauty of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The café seamlessly integrates with its iconic surroundings. The focal point of the space is the cantilevered, illuminated coffee counter, made from compound-curving Corian panels, which gives it a seamless, floating appearance. This architectural highlight not only celebrates the art of coffee making but also integrates essential electrical and plumbing infrastructure, overcoming the challenges of maintaining a pure floating effect in a bustling midtown café. Abbotsford Road

Abbotsford Road Australians love coffee, and Abbotsford Road brings some of that Aussie love to our very own Gowanus, Brooklyn. Parkbench Architects was so excited to be presented with the task of designing the flagship location for this Australian coffee brand. By introducing the coffee bar, table seating, and tasting area in the front of the space, the business end- and by that we mean the roaster- can be put in the back for ease of venting and allowing for ample production space around the roaster. Abbotsford Road brings a much needed community-centric space to the otherwise manufacturing-heavy neighborhood. Emmett’s on Grove

Emmett’s on Grove Like Cindarella with her slipper, the landmarked beauty at 39 Grove built in 1831 could not be a more fitting home for Emmett’s on Grove- the second location by master restauranteur, Emmett Burke. With the building’s smorgasboard of architectural styles combined with Emmett’s proclivity for repurposing, it’s easy for anyone to feel right at home at the vintage front bar or reclaimed bowling alley seating in the back dining room. It was with great pleasure that Parkbench Architects was able to provide the new full-kitchen with pizza oven and dining spaces as the architectural backbone for Emmett’s eclectic and expertly appointed restaurant. Emmett’s on Grove should be the new local for any and all living in or passing through the West Village.
